He was predeceased by: his parents, Ona Barker and William Barker. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Lane; his children, William (Marian), Katherine Parr (Randy), Bruce (Nancy), Vickie Warren (Neil), Joan Tidrick Later (George) and Yvonne Barker (Stalding); his wife Yvonne; Tacoma. He is also survived by his five children; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of William Barker.
