It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lewis French (Toppenish, Washington), who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donneth French and Abel French. He is survived by: his significant other Brian; and his siblings, Abel French, Peggy Lamebull, Hazel Celestine, Joyce Hemmerling, Richard French, David French and Helen French. He is also survived by his many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (228 S Alder St, Toppenish, WA 98948-1622). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zillah City Cemetery (100 1st Ave, Zillah, WA 98953).
