He was predeceased by: his parents, Manwoo Hwang and Choonja; and his former wife Amy. He is survived by: his wife Choonja; his children, Chansun and Una; his daughter-in-law Esther (Chansun); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Mina, Nico and Noelle.
