He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John and Callie Rowland; his mother Hildred Rowland Olsen; his wife Lily White Rowland; and his grandchildren, Ricky Rowland and Jessica Denton.

He is survived by: his significant other Colleen Hammontree; his children, Rick Rowland, Mickey Rowland, Billy Rowland, Vicky Denton, Kathy Thurman and Judy Rowland; and his children-in-law, Larry Thurman, Jeff Denton, Anita Rowland, Kristy Bell and Amy Murphy. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Toledo Cemetery (351 N 5th St, Toledo, WA 98591). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Vader Assembly of God (302 6th St, Vader, WA 98593).
