It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernardus Simons of Vancouver, Washington, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernardus Simons to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his grandfather Claire Keith (Peter) of Richmond, VA; his mother Theresia; and his siblings, Wanda, Iet and Arnold.

He is survived by : his sister Annie; his grandchildren, Claire and Connor; his son Andre Simons; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Simons of Fredericksburg, VA; his niece Maureen Kudron of Phoenix, AZ; his nephews, Larry Braaksma (Angie) of Troutdale, OR and Randy Braaksma of Gresham, OR; his brothers-in-law, Craig Newton of Everett, WA and Jim Newton (Lori) of Arlington, WA; his wife Patty; and also, Arnold, Theresia and Annie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Catholic Charities USA.
