It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Ruth Van (Jansma) Kley of Vancouver, Washington, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Jansma and Elliot Jansma; and her siblings, Richard, William, Elliot, Jr., Tillie, Grace, Cora, Michael, Peter, Joyce, Donald and James.
She is survived by: her brothers, Arthur and Carl; her sons, David Van Kley (Arlene) of Gwinn, Michigan, Marc Van Kley (Cheryl) of Stockbridge, Georgia, Byron Van Kley (Traci) of Vancouver, Washington and Wesley Van Kley of Asheville; her grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, Constance, Christopher, Daniel, Joshua, Jacob, Hannah, Sara, Abigail, Carson, Nathan, Shane and Baylie; and her great grandchildren, Rudy, Abraham, Sydney, Ida, Eva, Ellie, Esther, Bridget, Luca, Emmett, Harrison and Nico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
