He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Michael E. Stein and LaVerne M. Stein (VanDeest); and his brother Michael Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, JT, Danielle, Zane, Rose, Kyle and Wren; and his brothers, Stuart and James. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
