He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; and his children, David Meyer and Janette Ohrling. He is survived by: his sons, Danny Meyer, Larry Meyer and Jim Meyer. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
His contributions to the church reflected his devotion to his faith and his desire to serve others.
