It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Duane Kanooth of Vancouver, Washington, born in Chinook, Montana, who passed away on September 3, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Bremer and Louis Kanooth; his brothers, Paul Kanooth and Bob Kanooth; and his son-in-law Danny Vallelunga.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Kanooth; and his children, Sherry Vallelunga, Pamela Tucker (Robert) and Greg Kanooth. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mount Angel Abbey or St. Vincent DePaul.
