With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Ann Allen of Vancouver, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dewey and Grace M Lyon; her stepfather Loren K Lyon; her siblings, Thomas Lyon and Rosalene Schellenberger; her sons, Rodney William Allen and Robert Thomas Allen; and her son-in-law Charles Heinzman (Butch).
She is survived by: her husband Arnold E Allen Sr.; her children, Arnold E Allen Jr. (Proceso Bihis) and Kay Heinzman (Butch); her foster son Paul Pearce (Casey); her grandchildren, Troy Heinzman (Becky), Aaron Heinzman (Angela), Paula, Linda Allen, Nicoletta and Justin Pearce; and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Abby, Dakota and Alexis Heinzman.
In lieu of flowers or cards, donations are requested in her name to the Ray Hickey Hospice House located at 2112 Mill Plain Blvd in Vancouver, WA.
