With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Edward Nye of Vancouver, Washington, born in Kelso, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde M. Nye and Elizabeth M. Baumgartner. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Nye, Joe Nye, Richard Nye, Martin Nye, Velma Nye, Marion Nye and Clare Nye; his wife Priscilla Jane Zanni; his stepsons, Martin and David Zanni; and his daughter Julie Ann Nye.
He was very active in the pro-life movement; always attending the March for Life, going to prayer groups and praying the rosary in front of abortion clinics and donating to pro-life causes.
