It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Schaffers in Vancouver, Washington, born in Salem, Oregon, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schaffers and Leona Schaffers; his sisters, Marianne Schaffers and Therese Foster; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Bronec and Peter Valdez.

He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Lobdell, Patricia Schaffers, Clare Bronec, Dorothy Mellon, Joan Schaffers and Elaine Perko; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Lobdell, Leo Mellon, Fred Foster and Jim Perko. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews.

In compliance with current Covid restrictions a private funeral service, limited to 30 people will be held on Dec. 4, 2020.
