She is survived by: her husband Patrick Cook; her son MicHael; her daughter-in-law Kerry Moore; her sister April Oostwal; her half-brother JC Davis; her stepchildren, Jacqueline Caldwell, Barbara Blanchard, David Cook, Milly Stillwell, Matthew Cook and Paul Cook; and her pets, Lola and Lulu. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She taught courses within her field and received recognition for her dedication to forensic science and her contributions to advancing the profession.
