He is survived by: his children, Justin Thornton, Kayleigh Hardway (Nathan Hardway) and Matthew Thornton (Megan); his grandchildren, Eythan Looney, Wolfe, Braxton Looney, Aspen Thornton and Michael Thornton; his mother Patty Thornton (Davis); his sister Sandy Curphy (Thornton); his pet Daisy; Wendy Thornton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
