“Stephen Michael Sabel was born June 23, 1941, in Los Angeles (CA), to Anthony and Celeste Sabel. He joined older brothers Richard and Thomas. After graduating from Glendale (Calif.) High School, Steve joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Bauer in the Pacific. After the Navy, he hired on as a lineman with Pacific Bell in Los Angeles. In 1971, he transferred from Pacific Bell, to Pacific NW Bell in Vancouver, where he was employed until he retired. He married in 1969 and is survived by two daughters, Audrey Ann (Don) Gurule in Kingwood, Texas, and Sarah Jane (Paul) Price in Vancouver, WA. He has four grand-daughters, Mila, Evie, Kennedy and Madison, and several nieces and nephews. RIP.”
