He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay M. McCaw and Katherine Holling McCaw; his wife Laurette Stueckle; his sister Kathleen; and his children-in-law, Ian Withers and Lynn McCaw.
He is survived by: his children, J. E. (Sandy), Guy (Cathy) and Laurie; his grandchildren, John McCaw (Tarah), Kelly Steinhoff (Tanner), Amber Roberts (Mike), Jesse McCaw (Kate), Wyatt Withers (Amanda) and Megan McCaw; his great grandchildren, Kiya, Lucas, Chloe, Ava, Colton, Rilee, Chase, Tucker, Trace, Hadley, Caden, Madison, Monroe, Violet, Sterling and Linus; and his great great grandchild Baylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
