As we bid Abbie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Abbie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Thurman and Ruth Isabel Skinner (Mullinix). She is survived by: her daughters, Janalee Coffeen (Nat), Gail Wagner and Julie Wade (Gary); her sisters, Lee Peterson (John) and Marilyn Stanford; and her siblings-in-law, Betsy White (Wendell), Phyllis Wagner, Judy Skinner and Richard Wagner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to the Wanda Skinner Gross Student Aid Fund at Walla Walla Valley Academy or through Walla Walla Community Hospice.
