She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles H. Berg and Catherine Berg (Rizzuti); her husband Richard "Dic" Buerstatte; her son Charles Richard Buerstatte; and her great grandchild Charles "Chas" Richard Buerstatte III.

She is survived by : her daughters, Judy Piper and Barbara Birdwell (Gary); and her grandchildren, Greg Piper (Gihan), Chuck Buerstatte Jr. (RaeAnne), Laura Buerstatte, Jessica Coll (Rod), Brian Mele and Vanessa Mata (Billo).
