Cye Logsdon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cye Logsdon of Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cye Logsdon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Del Logsdon and Esther Logsdon; and his siblings, William and Mary Lynn Shilvock. He is survived by : his wife Sue Cox; his sons, Rodney, Michael, Andrew and Daniel (Sara); his grandchildren, Conan, Genevieve and Elliot; his siblings, Robert (Dee Dee), Lester (Bertha) and Maxine Heidenrich (Louis); his brother-in-law John Shilvock; and his niece Liz (Roland Swopes). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Walla Walla Community Hospice or the Walla Walla Vet Center through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla WA 99362.

Biggdaddy Hansen wrote a sympathy message

“My heart has been sad since I learned of Cye's passing. I am so grateful that he came to a WSP retirees luncheon a couple months ago and we had a chance to visit. I have many great memories with Cye at WSP. He was a terrific sergeant but an amazing human being. He never asked anyone to do anything he wouldn't do himself and the stories and times we've shared will be with me the rest of my life. Thank you for your friendship Cye. I wish I could attend but I have grandpa duty. Blessings”
