With sadness, we share the passing of Evelyn L. Cole of Walla Walla, Washington. Evelyn, born on March 11, 1943, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Evelyn for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Evelyn’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sidney Howard and Bessie Howard (McDaniel); her siblings, Sidney, Linda, Cecil and Robert; and her husband Norman Cole. She was also cherished by her loving family, including her husband, children, grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home (902 S Main St, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (2120 S 2nd Ave, Walla Walla, WA 99362).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of the person's choice.
