We are sad to announce that, on January 4, 2026, at the age of 102, Evelyn Frances Sherrod Fletcher (Walla Walla, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Evelyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Evelyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sherrod and Zoe Briggs Sherrod; her husband Eugene Fletcher; her siblings, Donald Sherrod and Mildred Bissinger; and her son David Fletcher.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Dorothy Fletcher; her children, Gary (Gloria Fletcher), Jim (Linda Fletcher) and Sherry; and her son-in-law Terry McConn of Walla Walla. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
