He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Simmons and Martha Simmons (Pommerening); his wife Anita Louise Blumhagen (Toni); his brother Bill Simmons; his children-in-law, Claud McDonald and Marci Simmons; and his great grandchild Crane Riot Ruchert.
He is survived by: his children, Greg (Debi) of Walla Walla, Jeff (Lisa) of Pasco and Lisa McDonald (Ronnie) of Milton-Freewater; his sister Marilyn Miller (Ray) of Gresham, OR; his brother-in-law Butch Blumhagen of Lincoln City, OR; his grandchildren, Heidi Lewis (Jeremy), Corinna Davey (Cody), Tanner Simmons, Gavin Simmons and Zak Schab; and his great grandchildren, Michael Colvin, Kaylee Rae, Kimber Davey and Tucker Ray Simmons. He is also survived by his family, as well as by the friends.
