He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Smith and John Chamberlain Burgess; his brother Jim Burgess; and his son Michael Burgess. He is survived by: his aunt Margaret; his wife Linda Burgess; his cousin Sharon Cassarino (Pete); his sister-in-law Jean Burgess (Jim); his children, Stephanie Gill (Gillen) and Stephen Burgess (Kel); and his grandchildren, Meghan, Ryan, Kimmi, Carter and Maddie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
