He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Edith Connett and Joseph Henry Koning. He is survived by: his wife Lorena Garanzuay; his daughters, Danielle, Emily (Thompson), Michelle, Lauren and Vanessa; his grandchildren, Annabelle, Jazzlyn, Adeline, Miya, Gwendolyn and Apollo; his brother Daniel; and his sister-in-law Patti. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home (315 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (2098 E Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362).
