He was predeceased by: his wife Claudine Locati; his children, Andrew Locati and Cindy Locati; his son-in-law Craig Downing; and his former wife Suzanne Locati.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Lancaster (Doug), Tina Downing, Edgar Locati, Rob Locati (Gina) and Kristin Locati; his grandchildren, Serenity Olson, Kylie Brown (Austin), Haleigh Reid (Jason), Ben Downing, Jessica Baarstad (Austin), Joe Lancaster, Alex Locati and Anthony Locati; his great grandchild Harrison Brown; and his siblings, Richard Locati (Jeannie) and Dorothy Locati Averill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Herring Funeral Home (315 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362). A rosary was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (722 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362). A reception was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Francis Parish Hall (712 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Italian Heritage Association of Walla Walla, WA, through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362.
