With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Eugene Brookshire (Walla Walla, Washington), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2026 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Brookshire and May Brookshire; and his brother Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jo Smith; his sons, Douglas (Lisa), Darren and Gary (Felicia Gorze); and his grandchildren, Jordan Brookshire (Felicia), Heidi Friend (Lewis), Holly Anderson (CJ), Nicole Brookshire (Dylon Wasmund), Hannah Settell (Brady), Sara Brookshire (Phillip Schmatt), Alexandra Croney-Kanniainen, Samantha Croney, Christina Harris (CJ), Ashley Croney and Sydnee Brookshire (Mauricio Duran).
