Theresa Frances Conwell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 97, Theresa Frances Conwell (Walla Walla, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Theresa farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Theresa is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alexander McKay and Helen Eliza McKay (Hanson); her husband Archie Eugene Conwell; her son-in-law Matthew Freitas; and her grandson Rafael Freitas.
She is survived by: her children, Mark D. Conwell (Debbie), Gale Snell (David) and Wendy Freitas; and her nephew Bob Conwell (Dani). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home (315 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (2098 E Alder St, Walla Walla, WA 99362).
