He was predeceased by: his parents, Eluterio Amaro and Lina Amaro; his brother Mario Amaro; and his sons, Anthony and Mario Amaro.
He is survived by: his son Albert Amaro; and his siblings, Seferino, Angelica Serna Amaro, Fidel, Eluterio Jr. Amaro (Rudy), Homero, Arnold Amaro, Elida, Elvia, Israel Amaro and Elvira (Vida). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
