With sadness, we share the passing of Donna Jean Bong of Wenatchee, Washington. Donna, born on May 31, 1951, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Jane Harrington and Francis Harrington; and her brothers, Greg and Ron Harrington. She is survived by: her husband Dan Bong of Wenatchee; her children, Craig Bong of Quincy, WA, Jeff Bong of Everett, WA, Scott Bong (Vanessa) of Silverdale, WA, Jay Bong (Maria) of Moses Lake, WA, David Bong (Adele) of North Wilkesboro, NC, Gwen Peterson of Marne, MI, Lori Stone (Mike) of Belmont, MI, Julie Schmidt (David) of Alexander, AR, Amber Kingesi (Peter) of East Wenatchee, WA and Ashley Dunn (Grant) of East Wenatchee, WA; her sister Melinda Lyle of Kirkland, WA; her close friend Patti Knight (Vic) of Shoreline, WA; and her caregiver Tere Gonzalez. She is also survived by 14 granddaughters, 12 grandsons, 3 great-granddaughters.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Grace City Church (277 Melody Ln, Wenatchee, WA 98801).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Baptist Mission, PO Box 866, Eagle Lake, FL 33839, designated "In Memory of Donna Bong" for Colin & Teena Ovenell, missionaries to Benin, Africa, who Donna loved and prayed for.
