“It seemed only moments ago when Gary told me he was having a procedure on his aorta and would be in the hospital for only one night.Not hearing from him for a few days I called and discovered he was at Haborview in Seattle and the news was not good. I have lost a dear dear friend and I hope that all of us who cherished him will honor him by trying to live our lives the way he would wish, by being loyal, generous,and kind to others. His quick wit and love of music also made him extra special.”
