It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Allen Simpson of Wenatchee, Washington, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Simpson and Marjorie A. Simpson (Kulhman); his wife Karin Simpson (Olthoff); his siblings, Richard Simpson and Marcia Hansen; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Hansen, Dietrich "Dick" Olthoff, Leonard "Red" Hollandsworth, Felix Koch, Sara Mae Olthoff and Renate Koch.
He is survived by: his friend Karin Olthoff; his sister Dorothy Hilborn; his sister-in-law Magda Hollandsworth; his daughters, Katherine J. Fife (Chris), Pamela J. Baltrusch (Loren) and Patricia A. McClenaghan (Brian); his grandchildren, Chris, Nick, Ben, Tara, Nathan, Samantha, Steven, Brandon, Sean and Mike; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Clayton, Natalie, Raydy and Max; his nieces and nephews, Tom, Lenny, David, Roy, Jenny, Terry, Lorain, Lisa, Julie, Linda, Debbie and Heidi; and his cousins, Joe, Lucy, Paula, Frances, Rose, Peggy, Mark, Brian and Carter (Bill).
