“Sadly, I’ve just today learned of Jim Sayer’s passing. Dr. Sayer was easily the most influential of my professors. His humor and general personality drew us all to class and we came with open minds, waiting to absorb the information. While that may sound a bit generic, it’s absolutely true. Dr. Jim’s thought processes, humor, good natured demeanor, plus the ability to strike the proverbial chord has remained with me since my overdue graduation in 1981. Rest n peace Dr. Jim.”
