She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hegland and Ella Hegland; and her sister Laurel Burger of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Grassell; her children, Kirsten Grassell of Frisco, Texas and Andrew Grassell; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Grassell of Wenatchee; her grandchildren, John of Wenatchee, Annalise of Wenatchee, Erik of Wenatchee and Maryrose Grassell of Wenatchee; and her sisters, Wendy Keene of Post Falls and Barbara Jackson of Hayden, Idaho. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wenatchee City Cemetery (1804 N Western Ave, Wenatchee, WA 98801).
