She was predeceased by : her children, Sherry Sue King and Gregory Wayne King; her parents, Eugene Jackson "Haymaker" Compton and Frances Cooper Compton Harris; her step-father Hy Harris; and her siblings, Jerry Compton and Pat Herzog.
She is survived by : her daughter, Kathy King Guimond; her son-in-law Joe Guimond; her grandson John William Griffith; and her brother Bill Compton.
She died February 5, 2021 at the age of 85 after a six week battle with Covid 19.
