He was predeceased by : his parents, Ireneaus Ochs and Lorraine Ochs; his mother-in-law Ruth Holm; his nephews, Joshua Melton and Edward Melton; and his niece Jenny Mathews (Ochs).

He is survived by : his wife Kathy Carey; his daughters, April Moore (Michael) and Amy Eldred (Damian); his grandchildren, Gavin, Phillip, Matthew, Maggie and Ellie; and his caregivers, Angela and Sarah.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wenatchee First Assembly of God Church (1520 McKittrick St, Wenatchee, WA 98801).
