“I knew Ben for more than 40 years. We started working together in the mid-1970's when Ben was at United Way. Since coming home in 2012 to retire, Ben and I worked on a wide range of rural health care issues. His insights on health care were profound. I just saw him about 6 weeks ago at Grays Harbor Community Hospital where he made a speech. When I walked into the room, he jumped up and gave me a big hug. I will miss him and his leadership will be very much missed in this state. Mark Stensager”
