Carole ann (Wilson) Differding Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carole Differding, a beloved individual who was born on December 4, 1951, and departed from us on August 20, 2023. Known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, Carole made every moment a treasure and every interaction an opportunity to express her love.
She leaves behind a beautiful family who cherishes her memory. This includes her granddaughters, Hailey Pauling; grandson, Kyle Pauling; sisters, Marylin Wilson and Paula Wilson; brothers, Gale Wilson and Timmy Wilson; daughter-in-law, Violett Bratton; and son-in-law, Kevin Pauling.
Carole rejoins several loved ones who predeceased her; her parents, Alberta and Gary Wilson; her husband, David Differding, the love of her life; and her daughter, Joanna Pauling.
Carole was known for her passions in life. A lover of the simple things, her favourite foods included salads, oatmeal, and anything she cooked herself. She enjoyed a cup of coffee or tea and often refreshed herself with water, Squirt, or Sprite.
She appreciated the classic beauty of the newspaper and the old music. Her favourite TV show was M*A*S*H, and she enjoyed anything she could watch alongside her husband. She cherished bold and big art, supported the Seahawks, and played solitaire and go fish. Among her preferred performances to watch were News, Simpsons, and Big Bang Theory.
Carole preferred to spend her leisure time watching television, cooking, and enjoying her grandchildren. She kept active by walking and loved vacationing anywhere with her family. Her favourite local spots were at her sisters' and the front yard of her house. As a woman of deep compassion, the cause closest to her heart was her family. Her favourite colour was a vibrant red.
Carole lived a life of profound love and respect, and she will always be remembered for her valuable lesson to never disrespect your elders. One of her greatest accomplishments was marrying her soulmate, David Differding.
Carole's legacy will always be one of kindness leaving a void in our hearts. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and experiencing her warmth, love, and care.
