He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Father Jesse Hernandez Sr. and Mother Hortensia Hernandez; and his siblings, Norma Hernandez and Eduardo Hernandez. He is survived by: his close friend Delia Hernandez; his daughter Audrey Brandsma (Jeremy); his grandsons, Andrew Brandsma and Austin Brandsma (Diane Chavez); and his siblings, Gilbert Hernandez, Fred Hernandez (Gigi), Jesse Hernandez Jr. (Maria), Richard Hernandez, Christina Moreno (Thomás), Rachel Ott (Ken) and Maria Bice (Del). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
