He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, James Hanni (Vicky), Donna Synder (Roy), Debbie Shaffer (Rick) and Don Smith Jr.; his stepchildren, Brian Lund (Danielle) and Tara Lund; his grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Matthew, Jessica (Alex), Devin (Daron), Jake, Isaac, Aundréa, Brianna, Nathan and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Corbin, Navy, Artie and Flo; his sister Norma DeGraw; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Smith.
