He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Dupré, Sr. and Geneil Denham; his sisters, Phyllis and Dorothy; his sons, Larry Rowe (Buffy), Michael Dupré (Nicole) and Robert Dupré; his uncle Vince; his wife Wanda Dupré (Buhrman); the mother of his children LaRose Kay Rodriguez; his adoptive son Manuel "Flaco" Gomez; his stepchildren, Char Smith (John), Becky Costich (Ivan), Andrea Williams (Doug), Jessica Gempler (Mike), Joseph Smith (Shannon) and Mitch Haven (Etlemira); his sister LaValla Trapp; and also, Flaco, Sean, Josh, Jason and Henry. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
