It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Thayer of Yakima, Washington, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Bill Thayer Sr.; her children, Sharon Lee Wright and Douglas Warren Thayer Sr.; her daughters-in-law, Cynthia Miller Thayer and Katherine Thayer; her parents, Jasper Norman and Amy Norman; her siblings, May, Ellen, Faye, Linda, Nora, Clara, Mildred, Thelma, Woodrow, Lindy, Burton, Tom and Ed; and her granddaughter Miranda Yohn.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Ashley Campbell (Josh); her great grandchildren, Sharon Getsinger (Ryan), Elijah, Isaac Campbell and Ryan Wallace; her children, Judy Yohn (Gary) and Raymond Bill Thayer Jr.; her grandchildren, William "Billy" Wright (Kim) and Brandy Wallace (Ray); and her brother Bob Norman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
