He was predeceased by: his brother Gail Byers; and his nephew Sean Byers. He is survived by: his children, Howard and Lucille Byers; his siblings, Jean Tweedie (Archie) of Port Townsend, Joyce Hill of Yakima, Gale Byers of Warden and Gerald Byers (Carri) of Yakima; his daughters, Sheryl and Jennifer; his nieces, Naomi Mahn (David) of McMinnville, Chereé Dennison (Ryan) of Yakima and Keli Byers Morey (Jake) of Elkridge; and his nephew Kevin Byers (Rebecca) of Seattle.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Othello Fire Department (Adams County Fire District #5), or your local fire department, can be sent in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936), who is caring for the family.
