She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Heer and Minnie Heer (Pickett); her siblings, Lewis Heer, Merna Giles (Lloyd), Richard Heer (Marie), Bob Heer (Lorraine), Evelyn Rooker (Russ), Phyllis Nelson, Marilyn Liedecker and Merl Odman; her stepson Craig Desmarais; and her great great grandchild Aiden Orgill.
She is survived by: her daughter Bernadine; her husband Gilbert Desmarais; her sister Martha Odman of Milton-Freewater; her brother-in-law Steve Nelson of Orange, California.; her children, Karen Cockle (Fred) of Everson, Bernie Orgill of Clackamas and Tracy Sanderson (Bill) of Washougal; her grandchildren, John Orgill (Rayna), Julie Campbell (Ron), Casey Jolly (Dana), Reid Sanderson (Cate Coleman), Sarah Adamu and Andrew Cockle (Ronda Pulse); her nephew Terry (Lynn); and her stepgranddaughter Leann Kelly. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and six great- great- grandchildren, children, numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
