With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greta Ann Alderson (Yakima, Washington), born in Cowiche, Washington, who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Thompson and Luci II. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Alderson; her children, Rick (Meghan Alderson), Jamie (Cylie Alderson), Steven (Jennifer Roy), Mike (Bethany Alderson Burton) and Cisco; her grandchildren, Boden, Brielle, Brynley, Lincoln, Samuel and Andrew; and her sisters, Carolyn McLean (Jim) and Sharron Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in her name may be sent to St. Joseph-Marquette Catholic School 202 North 4th Street, Yakima, WA 98901 and to Eisenhower Swim 611 S. 44th Ave. Yakima, WA 98908 or sent in care of Shaw & Sons Funeral Home who is caring for the family.
