She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Yakima; her husband John Barnes; her children, Jeri Walker (Rich), Don Barnes (Bev) and Nancy Shanks (Roland); and her grandchildren, Dawn White, Eric Steen (Gina), Dave Calhoun (Amber), Matt Calhoun (Caroline), Rose Steen-Hanson and Chad Steen (Sarah).

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the West Valley Missionary Church (11107 Wide Hollow Rd, Yakima, WA 98944).
