He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Carey and Margaret Withers; his wife Rose Carey; his children, James Patrick (Chris) of Seattle and Diana Anson (Jim) of Yakima; his grandchildren, Andy Anson of New Orleans, Jamie (Kim), Leo, Juliana, Oliver, Elise, Samuel Anson, Kelsey and Nick of Kirkland, WA.; his brother Bob (Larayne) of Yakima; and his nephew Pat (Diane) of Yakima.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Gospel Mission or the Yakima Humane Society.
