He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilfrid O "Pat" Robert and Ernestine Robert (Crete); his daughter Mary Ann; his siblings, Paul, Henry and Helen Feil; and his grandson Nathan.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn; and his children, David (Rachel) of Seattle, Mark of Mullica Hill, NJ, John (Laurin) of Eugene Oregon, Michele (Alfredo Renteria) of Yakima and Suzanne (Walter Schillereff) of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In honor of Louis' Legacy of boundless generosity and altruism the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations and nonperishable food be brought to St Paul Cathedral office or the mass. These donations will be delivered to St. Vincent de Paul to continue his tradition of charity.

“Dear Mrs. Robert and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Robert. He has left a legacy of sharing a wonderful family with us all. I cannot think of Mr. Robert without smiling, he was such a gentle and considerate man. I will always remember his carrying a tune in church during services there in Yakima. His voice was memorable. My sincere condolences on your loss and know his life was a very full and significant one. Sincerely Paul Dobosz”
