She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Laurent and Nellie Laurent; her husband Dave Gasseling; and her in-laws, Leo and Teresa Gasseling.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leah Gasseling and Erica Gasseling; her pet Buster; her sister Arleen Harman (Kevin); and her siblings-in-law, Ken Gasseling (Diane), Don Gasseling (Sue), Mike Gasseling (Sue), Ann Niesz (Rick) and Susan Gasseling. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Marleen asked that donations to be made to the Humane Society.
