We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2022, at the age of 92, Phyllis I. Steinert (Yakima, Washington), born in Davenport, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Miller and Alta Miller (Odgers); her husband Willard Steinert; her siblings, Richard, Ray, Louis, Leona Bumgardner, Elaine Bratten and Ruby Shipp; and her great grandchild Mason Sanderson.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Hanna of San Pedro, Steve Steinert (Laura) of Monroe and Jerry Steinert of Selah; her sisters, Dorothy Greenough and Donna Botelho; her grandchildren, Thea Sanderson (Brian), Sean Rorke (Heather) and Andy Steinert (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Holden Sanderson, Dylan, Ray Ann Steinert, Gabriella, Nicholas and Addison Rorke. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to Cottage in the Meadow and sent in care of Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA 98901), who is caring for the family.
