He was predeceased by: his father Jesus Serrata; his son Noe R. Serrata; his mother Maria Quintero; and his siblings, Roberto Serrata, Josie Perez and Margarita Degollado.

He is survived by: his wife Lynni M. Honanie; his daughter Raquel E. Kesselring (Jason); his grandchildren, Ashely-Nicolette, Ashley-Nicolette and Cameron-McKay; and his sisters, Jeannie Acosta and Rachel Magana.
